Braden Huff, the former four-star recruit and Illinois' Mr. Basketball, enters the 2023-24 season as a redshirt sophomore for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.

Though the transfer portal has made the redshirt option a less likely route to take, plenty of former Zags have benefitted from taking a year off of hoops to mentally and physically prepare for the following season.
