Dan Dickau not concerned with Gonzaga's 3-point shooting in win over Lewis-Clark State

Former Gonzaga All-American believes Bulldogs "got exactly what they wanted" from the victory

It won't count in the standings, but there were still plenty of positives to take away from Gonzaga's exhibition victory over Lewis-Clark State.

From Graham Ike's dominance down low to Ryan Nembhard's superb playmaking, there was a lot to like from the Zags' 96-58 win over the Warriors to unofficially tip off the 2023-24 season. Braden Huff scored in a multitude of ways as he contributed 21 points and nine rebounds off the bench in a stellar showing from Gonzaga's frontcourt. Freshman Dusty Stromer did exactly what he needed to do, while Luka Krajnovic was a solid floor general behind Nembhard.

There were also some downsides — Gonzaga shot 5-for-21 from deep and gave up nine triples on the defensive end. Anton Watson wasn't his efficient self, nor was Nembhard shooting the ball. Both have proven to be capable scorers throughout their respective careers, which is why former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau isn't too concerned about the negatives from the Bulldogs' exhibition opener.

Dickau breaks down what he saw from Gonzaga's victory over Lewis-Clark State in a new episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast.
