Drew Timme goes off for 30 points in NBA G League game

The former Gonzaga star had his best game as a pro

Drew Timme is doing Drew Timme things.

The former Gonzaga All-American torched the Windy City Bulls for 30 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists on Tuesday night. Timme's team, the Wisconsin Herd, lost the game, 123-96, but nobody pays attention to the score in the NBA G League.

Timme's stat line was borderline ridiculous: 11-of-12 from the field, 2-of-2 from the 3-point line, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in 37 minutes.

It was by far Timme's best performance as a professional basketball player.

"Listen, I think he's an NBA player," said Gonzaga coach Mark Few after the Bulldogs' win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday. "He's just too good of a basketball player, too good of a guy and too good of a teammate to not have on an (NBA) roster."
