The Gonzaga men's basketball team returns home from its California road trip for a pivotal West Coast Conference battle with San Francisco at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

The Bulldogs (13-5, 4-1 WCC) won their last two games on the road at Pepperdine and at San Diego last week. Mark Few earned his 700th career victory in an 86-61 triumph over the Waves, as Gonzaga outscored the opposition 46-21 in the second half and shot 70.4% from the field after halftime. Win No. 701 came two nights later in San Diego, where the Bulldogs routed the Toreros, 105-63, behind a career-high 26 points from Braden Huff.

Huff, who earned WCC Freshman of the Week honors on Wednesday, was accompanied by three double-doubles from Ben Gregg (15 points, 11 rebounds), Anton Watson (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Ryan Nembhard (12 points, 12 assists).

The Dons (15-5, 4-1 WCC) had their seven-game winning streak snapped in a 77-60 loss at home to Saint Mary's on Saturday. Leading scorer Jonathan Mogbo (15.4 points, 10.5 rebounds per game) was held to 11 points and six rebounds, as the Gaels shot 11-for-23 from behind the arc and got a career-high 21 points from Joshua Jefferson, as well as 22 points from Aidan Mahaney.

Gonzaga and San Francisco have shot the ball well from the field to start WCC play. The Bulldogs lead the conference shooting 54.6% from the field with the Dons not far behind at No. 2 shooting 51.1%. Both are also the two best scoring offenses in the league — Gonzaga averages 90.8 points and San Francisco puts up 84.2 points per game in league play.

The Bulldogs are are 8-9 against the spread and 4-1 in WCC play, per covers.com. They're 4-4 ATS when favored at home, per teamrankings.com, and 3-5 ATS when having four or more days off in between games. 

The Dons are 13-6 ATS on the season after failing to cover against Saint Mary's at home. San Francisco is 3-1 ATS after a loss and 1-1 as the underdog in away games.

Gonzaga has won 27-straight over San Francisco, a streak that dates back to 2012. Since then, the Bulldogs are 8-2-1 ATS against San Francisco in home games.
