Coming off a frustrating road loss to Washington, the Gonzaga Bulldogs dropped to No. 10 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday.

The Zags (7-2) squandered a double-digit lead in the second half to the Huskies, as Mark Few's team shot 25.9% from the field over the last 20 minutes and missed 11 of its last 12 shot attempts in the 78-73 defeat. Keion Brooks Jr. and Sahvir Wheeler made timely baskets down the stretch, combining for 12 of their team's final 14 points, to help Washington win its first head-to-head matchup with Gonzaga since 2005. It was the first loss against a Pac-12 foe since the 2014-15 season and first letdown in a nonconference game against an unranked opponent since 2019.

Still, Gonzaga remained in the top 10 ahead of its major bout against No. 5 UConn in Seattle on Friday. The Huskies (9-1) have ranked victories over Texas and North Carolina on neutral site courts, with their only loss coming on the road to Kansas.

Elsewhere, Arizona earned all but one first-place vote to remain atop the AP Poll following its thrashing of No. 23 Wisconsin on Saturday. Behind the Wildcats (8-0) sit the Jayhawks (9-1) at No. 2 and No. 3 Purdue, the latter of which moved up one spot following wins over Iowa and Alabama. Purdue and Arizona face off in a premier nonconference matchup on Saturday in Indianapolis.

Houston received the only first-place vote that didn't go Arizona's way but still managed to drop one spot to No. 4 in the poll. In front of the Bulldogs and rounding out the top 10 are No. 6 Baylor, No. 7 Marquette, No. 8 Creighton and No. 9 North Carolina.

No. 13 Clemson was the biggest riser over the week, as the Tigers (9-0) jumped 11 spots after beating South Carolina and TCU to remain one of the seven teams with perfect records. Undefeated Oklahoma jumped eight spots to No. 11 with victories over Providence and Arkansas, while No. 12 Tennessee got its first win over a ranked opponent against No. 16 Illinois. The Vols (6-3) three losses were to Purdue, Kansas and North Carolina in a nine-day stretch.

Kentucky checked in at No. 14, up two spots from last week, as it bounced back from its home loss to UNC Wilmington with a 15-point win over Penn on Saturday. The Wildcats (7-2), who host Gonzaga on Feb. 10, have notable wins over ranked Miami and Saint Joseph's, which beat Villanova and Princeton this season.

San Diego State fell out of the top 25 due to its loss at Grand Canyon on Tuesday. The Aztecs (8-2) narrowly escaped an upset at home against UC Irvine days later, as Brian Dutcher's squad continues to find ways to win in close contests. San Diego State has overtime wins against Washington and Cal as well as one-point margins over UC San Diego and UC Irvine.

The Aztecs, along with the Huskies, received votes from the panel this week.
