How to Watch Indiana Basketball Against Harvard

Indiana continues the 2023-24 season on Sunday against the Harvard Crimson at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Here's how to watch, with game time and TV information, the coaching matchup, series history, stats, rankings and more.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Coach Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers are back in their home state for a matchup against the Harvard Crimson.

Indiana most recently went 1-1 in the Empire Classic, with a loss to UConn and a win over Louisville at Madison Square Garden. They'll play Harvard in another NBA arena, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, representing the 40th consecutive season Indiana has played in Indianapolis. 

Indiana enters the game 4-1 overall, while Harvard is 5-1 with three wins away from home.

Meet the coaches

  • Tommy Amaker, Harvard: Amaker is in his 17th year at Harvard with a 283–167 overall record and a 136-74 mark in Ivy League play. Harvard has won seven regular season Ivy League titles under Amaker, along with four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 2012-15. Prior to Harvard, Amaker coached Michigan from 2001-07, but never made the NCAA Tournament. His first head coaching job was at Seton Hall from 1997-2001, which included a Sweet 16 appearance in 2000. Amaker started 183 games at point guard for Duke from 1983-87 under coach Mike Krzyzewski, reaching the national championship in 1986.
  • Mike Woodson, Indiana: Woodson is in his third season at Indiana with a 48-27 overall record and a 21-19 mark in regular season Big Ten play. Woodson has NBA head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10 and the New York Knicks from 2012-14. Woodson played at Indiana University from 1976-80, and was named the Big Ten's Most Valuable Player as a senior under coach Bob Knight. He was the 12th overall pick in the 1980 NBA Draft, and played for various teams from 1980-91, averaging 14 points over 786 games.
