Indiana Point Guard Xavier Johnson Named All-Big Ten Second Team By Fox Sports

In Fox Sports' Big Ten preview, Indiana point guard Xavier Johnson made the All-Big Ten second team for the 2023-24 season.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Fox Sports released its preseason All-Big Ten first and second teams, player of the year and breakout player to watch on Monday.

Despite being left off the All-Big Ten teams in a conference-wide media poll, Indiana's Xavier Johnson made Fox Sports' All-Big Ten second team.

Johnson played just 11 games last season due to a broken foot, but coach Mike Woodson is relying on him to play a major role as a point guard and team captain.

In Johnson's first and only complete season as a Hoosier in 2021-22, he was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by the conference's voting media. That season, Johnson led Indiana in assists (172) and steals (40) and finished second in points per game at 12.1.
