Indiana Basketball Offers 2025 4-Star Forward Jordan Scott

Jordan Scott has been offered a scholarship by Mike Woodson and the Indiana men's basketball team. Scott is a four-star forward from Virginia in the class of 2025, and was offered by Woodson and IU on Saturday after being visited by assistant coach Kenya Hunter.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — While most of Hoosier nation was busy watching coach Tom Allen and the football team on Saturday, coach Mike Woodson and his staff were busy on the recruiting trail.

Woodson and the Indiana men's basketball team have offered a scholarship to Jordan Scott, a 6-foot-7, 185-pound forward in the class of 2025. Scott was visited and recruited by coach Kenya Hunter on Woodson's staff, according to the prospect's post announcing the offer.

Scott plays for South Lakes High School in Virginia, and is the second-highest ranked prospect in the state in the class of 2025, according to 247 Sports. Scott also holds offers from multiple Big Ten rivals in Maryland, Iowa, Michigan State, Penn State and Illinois, according to 247

Scott is also ranked as No. 45 overall player in the class of 2025 by 247. With him now included, it makes 21 players in the top 100 of 247's 2025 basketball recruits rankings that Woodson and IU have pursued

Woodson and the Hoosiers do not yet have any commits in the classes of 2024 or 2025, but are in contention for several four- and five-star prospects, and are the favorites to land five-star Liam McNeeley

South Lakes does not have any publicly listed stats for Scott, though his MaxPreps page seems to indicate that Scott has played on the school's varsity team since he was in the 8th grade. Scott wears the number 20 on his jersey for South Lakes, and will begin his junior season on Nov. 28 in a game against W.T. Woodson High School.
