Indiana Makes Top Eight for 2024 4-Star Wing Annor Boateng

Annor Boateng announced the final eight schools for his college decision on Saturday afternoon, and Indiana made the final cut for the four-star forward in the class of 2024.

Mike Woodson and the Indiana Hoosiers are yet to land a commit in the class of 2024, but they remain in contention for multiple high profile prospects, such as four-star forward Annor Boateng.

Boateng announced his final eight schools on Saturday afternoon, and Indiana made the cut, along with Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia Tech, LSU, Missouri, Ohio State and Virginia Tech

Boateng is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound prospect from Little Rock, Ark., and is the 38th overall-ranked prospect in the class of 2024, according to 247 Sports. Indiana does not yet have a commit in the class of 2024, but is pursuing multiple 2024 five-star and four-star prospects, such as Liam McNeeley, Boogie Fland, Patrick Ngongba II and Austin Swartz

The four-star wing plays for Little Rock Central High School and Team Griffin on the AAU circuit, and excels as a downhill driver and at-the-rim finisher.

"Definitely getting to the rim and using my athleticism," Boateng told Pro Insight in a Q&A back in 2021, describing what he could bring to a college team at the next level. "I am able to rise up above people and finish strongly at the rim. That would probably be my greatest strength."

Additionally, when describing his ideal college fit to Pro Insight back in 2021, Boateng said that academics would play a major role in his decision.

"Overall, first I am looking for good academics, because you know, what if basketball doesn’t work out even if it is my goal?" said Boateng. "But also, I want to see how willing they are to invest in getting me to the next level and help me to possibly go pro. I want a good relationship and stuff like that."

With Indiana's rich basketball history and well-regarded academics, the Hoosiers should stay in strong contention for the four-star forward.
