Indiana Adds TCU Transfer Offensive Lineman Noah Bolticoff

After playing in the National Championship game for TCU, offensive lineman Noah Bolticoff is transferring to Indiana.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana bulked up its offensive line during the second transfer portal window.

Noah Bolticoff, a 6-foot-5, 306-pound offensive lineman, announced his decision to join the Hoosiers Wednesday night on Twitter. Bolticoff will arrive in Bloomington with three years of remaining eligibility.

"Committed. Let's get to work. Go Hoosiers," Bolticoff wrote.

As a three-star recruit in the class of 2021 out of Rose Hill High School in Kansas, he chose TCU over offers from Kansas State, Kansas and Vanderbilt. Bolticoff was ranked No. 755 in the country, No. 49 among interior offensive linemen and No. 3 in Kansas, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Bolticoff took a redshirt year in 2021 and appeared in one game, TCU's season opener against Duquesne. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he played in six games during the Horned Frogs' run to the National Championship game under coach Sonny Dykes.

Bolticoff saw in-game action in Week 2 against Tarleton State, then played in TCU's final five games, including the College Football Playoff semifinals against Michigan and championship game against Georgia.

Bolticoff joins an Indiana offensive line led by first-year position coach Bob Bostad, who brings a wealth of experience coaching All-Americans at Wisconsin and NFL Pro Bowlers. Indiana's offensive line has struggled in recent years, but coach Tom Allen hopes Bostad's coaching and individual development will create change in 2023.

Indiana returns the majority of its offensive line from last season, aside from starting left tackle Luke Haggard, who graduated and declared for the NFL Draft. Starting right tackle Matthew Bedford is working his way back from an ACL tear suffered in the 2022 season opener against Illinois. Other players expected to compete for starting roles include Mike Katic, Zach Carpenter, Kahlil Benson, Josh Sales, Carter Smith, Bray Lynch and UMass transfer Max Longman.
