Blake Thiry, a 6-foot-4 tight end, announced his commitment to Indiana on Tuesday, becoming the sixth member of Curt Cignetti's 2025 recruiting class.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana picked up the sixth member of its 2025 recruiting class on Tuesday, landing tight end Blake Thiry.

Thiry is a 6-foot-4, 216-pound tight end from Prairie du Chien High School in Wisconsin, near the Iowa and Minnesota borders. Indiana offered a scholarship to Thiry on March 5, and he visited Bloomington on April 13. He also visited Indiana in October of 2023 under the previous coaching staff.

Considered a three-star prospect, Thiry is ranked No. 1,169 overall, No. 62 among tight ends and No. 11 in Wisconsin among class of 2025 recruits, per the 247 Sports Composite.

He chose Indiana over offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Lindenwood, North Dakota State, Ohio, Texas Tech, UAB and Western Michigan. Thiry also visited high-major programs like Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa State and Tennessee, but he did not receiver offers.

Thiry does a bit of everything at Prairie du Chien. He has experience playing running back, wide receiver, tight end, linebacker and long snapper. He's also on the wrestling and track teams. Kohl's ranks Thiry No. 13 among long snappers in the class of 2025. He reports a 4.7-second 40-yard dash and a 35-inch vertical leap on his Hudl page, where you can watch Thiry's highlights.

Thiry became the sixth member of Indiana's 2025 recruiting class under new head coach Curt Cignetti. He joins linebacker Travares Daniels II, wide receiver LeBron Bond, defensive back Garrett Reese and offensive linemen Evan Parker and Matt Marek. All six are considered three-star recruits, and the class is currently ranked No. 34 nationally and No. 8 in the Big Ten, per the 247 Sports Composite.
