Hawkeye Football Offers Jack Limbaugh

In this story:
The heat has been hitting Iowa City hard the last few days. The weather coincided with Hawkeye Football camps for high schoolers.
Jack Limbaugh didn't mind the high temperatures. The in-state defensive lineman enjoyed the event even before receiving a Hawkeye scholarship offer.
"Camp was run very well," the Algona High junior told HN. "There was a lot of great coaching and feedback. It also was very physical, which I like and suits some of my strengths."
Limbaugh (6-4, 225) has emerged as one of Iowa's best preps in the 2025 Class. He also reported scholarship offers from Iowa State, Kansas State and Nebraska.
The Hawkeyes played host to Limbaugh and his family during Iowa's spring practice session. He's watched the program's success through the years.
"Iowa has done a great job in the past developing players and helping them maximize their potential," he said.
Limbaugh is a Nebraska legacy. His mother, Amber (Holmquist) Limbaugh, is a former All-American volleyball player. Jack Limbaugh Sr., his father, is an alumnus of the football program.
"My parents are really encouraging me to chart my own course and see which program is best suited for me. They're allowing me to enjoy this process without any pressure," Limbaugh said.
With half of his high school years remaining, Limbaugh has plenty of time left for the recruiting process. He's not prioritizing it yet.
"I look forward to focusing my energy and full attention on our team. I hope we can have a great season and make the playoffs this year," he said.
Algona boasts two juniors with Power 5 scholarship offers. Quarterback Alex Manske also reports a Hawkeye offer.
Limbaugh totaled 21.0 tackles (12 solo) as a sophomore in '22. He racked up 7.0 tackles for loss and a sack.
When you pop on Limbaugh's 10th-grade highlights, you see an explosive athlete. He's in the backfield quickly whether he's coming from defensive tackle or off the edge.
