Kansas Jayhawk Fan College Football Viewing Guide - Week 13
It's a holiday weekend with a TON of football on the television, and thanks to a large portion of the country being off of work today, the slate has expanded to fill the extra time on Friday. The Kansas Jayhawks are on primetime broadcast television, but that won't be enough to fill your entire weekend with football. So let's find some games that have the best chance of holding your attention and whetting your appetite for football.
With that in mind, we have a primer for the Kansas Football fan. A full slate of action that you can turn on that will whet that football appetite but also be relevant to your rooting interests. We'll pick a main game for the big TV, and then a second one for flipping during commercials or to stick on that laptop/tablet/second TV that we all know is sitting right there. And with the main screen not occupied by the Kansas game, there will be plenty of interesting games to fill that screen, and others that you will need to make sure you at least follow on your phone.

We have what should be a really good game tonight, especially if you liked what you saw from any of the other Conference USA matchups from earlier this year. And you better get your fill today, because the Friday games may be detrimental to your health.

This might be a preview of the Conference USA Championship game, depending on how a potential three-way tie for second place shapes up. Regardless, this should be a competitive game that will be very interesting to watch if you aren't interested in the Big 12 matchup below.

A Texas win here puts a ton of pressure on the Wildcats in tomorrow's game against Kansas, as a victory would be needed in order to secure a spot in the Big 12 Championship. But every time I'm ready to count this Baylor team out, they do something ridiculous, so don't assume they roll over in this game.
Friday Afternoon
There isn't much on in this timeslot, but it is a slot with football on a holiday weekend where the majority of the country has the ability to watch.

I think this is the first time that I actually featured a Missouri game here, and I'm watching this one solely for the opportunity to see the disappointment on the faces of Tigers fans when Arkansas keeps them from qualifying for a bowl game this season.
Friday Evening
We all know that you are going to have the Kansas Basketball team on instead during this timeframe, but if you insist on having some football on the second screen, then here is one that is at least worth half paying attention to.

It's always fun watching two teams that take themselves way too seriously face off in a primetime slot. I'm probably going to be monitoring this one more for meme potential in the crowd shots, but it is a decent game to watch in its own right.

Only one REALLY good matchup, but there is a ton of other stuff you can turn on if you don't really care too much for any of the basketball games going on in this timeslot.

College Football Playoff implications. Big Ten Championship berth on the line. This one has anything that an objection college football fan would want to see, and it doesn't hurt that this is one of the bigger rivalries in the sport. Expect this one to be fairly competitive throughout, and if you are a fan of the sport, then you will have this one on.

I'm going to default to the Big 12 if there is nothing else worth turning on, and I honestly debated even this one. There aren't really a lot of good matchups in the early window, so if you need something for the second screen and your interest isn't piqued by anything on the basketball slate, then you can at least turn this one on and see if Oklahoma State has finally gotten it back together yet.

Saturday Afternoon
There aren't a ton of "must-watch" games between two good teams, but there are plenty of possibilities for huge upsets that are worth turning on.

I'm intrigued to see if Texas Tech can add its name to the list of schools beating the Sooners on the way out of the conference.

One more good one for the late slot, as the PAC 12 has finally started to showcase some of the good matchups in their conference in a timeslot that has no competition.
