It was a week of big games and big upsets in college basketball, and there were some big shakeups in the Top 25 polls. The Kansas Jayhawks were able avoid the madness and maintain their spot in the rankings this week.

The top 5 teams all remained the same, but the vote margins shrunk significantly. The Purdue Boilermakers still lead, with the Jayhawks, Houston Cougars, Arizona Wildcats and UConn Huskies rounding out the top 5. The Wildcats and Huskies each lost this week but were able to maintain their spot.

The Big 12 has a total of six teams in the AP Poll, with Kansas and Houston being joined by the Oklahoma Sooners at 12th, the BYU Cougars at 14th, the Baylor Bears at 17th and the Texas Longhorns at 21st. The Iowa State Cyclones are the only other team receiving votes in the poll.

There were plenty of big movers this week, with five teams moving at least five spots. The Florida Atlantic Owls moved up seven spots to 7th after their double overtime victory over Arizona. The Duke Blue Devils moved up five spots to 16th after defeating Baylor. Oklahoma fell by five, Baylor fell by seven and Creighton lost to Villanova.

The schedule for marquee games is pretty light this week, as there only a single game between ranked teams. 22nd-ranked Creighton travels to face Marquette on Saturday.
