No matter how well the cupboard is stocked, it is nearly impossible to have too many offensive linemen.  You can survive if you skip a class with a Quarterback or a Running back but signing a class without a lineman is unacceptable. The Kansas Jayhawks have made it a habit of recruiting the offensive line positions heavily under head coach Lance Leipold. They have been very strategic with their targets, and one of their most recent recruiting offers demonstrates this perfectly.

N-Kye Wynn is an offensive lineman prospect from Muskegon High School in Muskegon, Michigan. He is a part of the 2025 class and measures in at around 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds. The 3-star recruit holds 14 total offers including Kansas, Toledo, Buffalo, and more according to 247Sports. Following his Kansas Jayhawks offer Wynn spoke with Blue Wings Rising to discuss what stood out to him the most about the Jayhawks.

“I was super excited to receive an offer from those guys at Kansas,” Wynn stated to Blue Wings Rising. “It was truly a blessing and totally caught me by surprise.”

“Kansas is unique to me because they are a big school and they took a chance on me which is a really exciting feeling and the first Power 4 school to offer me. I spoke with Coach (Chris) Simpson when we talked he told me that I had an offer from them a couple of days before that I talked with Coach (Daryl) Agpalsa and we spoke about life and family.”

He does confirm his plans when it comes to visiting the Jayhawks in the near future. “I plan on visiting them but I don’t know when. They are a top school for sure in my recruitment.”
