The Kansas Jayhawks are still undefeated, but this week they have their toughest test of the season so far: a historical excellent defense that is expected to stand up to the explosive Jayhawk offense. But to help us figure out what is going on with this team, I welcomed Levi Stevenson of Wide Right & Natty Lite onto the show.

We dove in to what has been going wrong for the Iowa State Cyclones, especially on the offensive end. We look at whether the offense needs big changes and how the defense will likely try to limit the Kansas offense. Plus, we pick some key areas to look at for the result in this one before making some predictions.

The episode begins with a stark look at what is going on for the Cyclones, with an offense that seems to have more talent than they are showing to this point. We look at how much of the blame lies with the players and how much with the coaches.

Then we dive in to what talent is on this offense and how they SHOULD be playing. A discussion about the Iowa State offensive line also turns into a discussion about defensive depth and what sort of advantages that gives a team.

After the break, we look at the Iowa State defense, trying to figure out exactly how they will look to limit the Kansas offense. Campbell and his staff are known for fantastic defenses, but they haven't faced an offense this prolific yet this season. We debate how this battle will end up.

To wrap up, I jumped into some picks that weren't available at the time of recording before we jump back to our predictions for this game. It's a full slate of fascinating conversations, so make sure you listen.
