The Kansas Jayhawks hit the field again today, with some additional rest thanks to an idle week. And with four chances to get that 6th win and qualify for a bowl game, they kick off those attempts with a home game against a beat up Oklahoma State Cowboys squad. To help preview the game and figure out what to expect from the opponent, I welcomed Phillip Slavin of the Ten12 Podcast back to the show.

We dove into what has been ailing the Cowboys on both sides of the ball and how they will attempt to combat the various looks that the Jayhawks will throw at them. And then we make some picks and predictions surrounding this game and the rest of the Big 12.

The episode begins with the biggest question surrounding the Cowboys right now: Will Spencer Sanders be available to play today? This turns into a general discussion about the injury issues that have been plaguing Oklahoma State, and just how much it hurt this team to have an early idle week.

From there, we look at the depth and experience that is available on this team, and how much things have changed from last season. Plus, if Sanders isn't available, how much can confidence is there that Gunnar Gundy can get a victory in his first start this season?

After the break, we take a deep dive into the defense, including whether the issues this season are scheme related or talent related (or a bit of both). And of course, we finish up by looking at some key stats for the game before making a wide array of picks and predictions.
