It’s not every day that you see a school attempt to flip an already committed recruit but if a school wants a recruit bad enough they sure will make an effort. Kansas is one of the many teams attempting to flip a specific Arizona Wildcats committed athlete.

Bryce Lewis is an athlete and prospect from Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Georgia. He is a class of 2025 prospect and has been committed to the Wildcats since August 16th, 2023. He recently talked with Blue Wings Rising to update his relationship with Kansas and the Jayhawks staff.

“It was great to get the Kansas offer,” Lewis stated to Blue Wings Rising. “Knowing how well Kansas has been doing these past few seasons, it was really an honor.”

“Coach Onatolu and I talked for a few and It went great! We just talked about the season and me being on campus. How they go from a basketball school to completely flipping the entire football program around is what makes Kansas unique. From winning very few games to being in the top 25 for two consecutive seasons. And how they renovate all facilities related to football. All of this in a span of two seasons.”

“I can fit in their system however they want me to fit,” the Georgia high school athlete stated. “It doesn’t matter if they want me on offense, defense, or both. I’ll be where they need me to be in order to make the team succeed.”

He also confirmed later that Kansas “is 100%” a top school in his recruitment. He is planning on visiting campus but does not currently have a date planned.
