How to Watch Louisville Cardinals vs. New Mexico State Aggies: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time

The Cardinals return home from the Empire Classic for a matchup with the Aggies.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Following a winless performance in the Empire Classic, the Louisville men's basketball program returns home to try and get back on track, hosting New Mexico State after a few extra days off.

While the Cardinals went 0-2 at Madison Square Garden, they put themselves in position to win both games. They lost 81-80 to No. 17/19 Texas after Max Abmas made a last-second go-ahead midrange jumper with 0.4 seconds left, then after leading Indiana by seven with under eight minutes to go, Louisville surrendered a 21-6 run to fall 74-66.

As for the Aggies, it has been an up-and-down first two weeks of the season. They are riding a two-game losing streak heading into their matchup with Louisville, and two of their three wins came against non-Division I competition. Their lone matchup against a power conference team so far, their season-opener against Kentucky, resulted in an 86-46 blowout loss.

This will be the sixth all-time meeting between Louisville and New Mexico State, with the Cardinals owning a 4-1 advantage. These two teams last met back on Dec. 22, 2007, with Louisville claiming a narrow 70-65 win at Freedom Hall.
