The ACC has seen a rise in big-time players this season, but do you know which players are the best in the league, or perhaps even in all of college football, from the ACC?
1) It’s well known that North Carolina’s Drake Maye and Florida State’s Jordan Travis are dual-threat quarterbacks, but can you also name at least two other ACC quarterbacks who are running and passing the football well?
Haynes King, Georgia Tech: 2,380 yards passing and 545 yards rushing.
Thomas Castellanos, Boston College: 1,714 yards passing and 760 yards rushing.
Kyron Drones, Virginia Tech: 1,306 yards passing and 406 yards rushing.
Those are three of the ACC's mobile signal callers, and that does not even consider what Duke’s Riley Leonard can do when he’s healthy, among others.

That would be Miami’s Rueben Bain, Jr.

Miami allows 89.2 yards per game (8th), Louisville 91.9 (11th), Clemson 108.4 (20th), and North Carolina State 110.7 (21st).
4) Which ACC receiver is second in the nation in yards per game?
Virginia’s Malik Washington is the answer at 119.9 yards per contest. He has 88 receptions, 1,199 yards, and 7 touchdowns this season.
5) Only one ACC running back has already topped the 1,000-yard mark this season, and he is?
North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton comes into this week with 1,067 yards for the Tar Heels.
6) Three ACC defensive backs have four or more interceptions. Now, can you name at least one of them?
Miami safety Kamren Kinchens has four, Louisville safety Devin Neal has four, and Boston College cornerback Elijah Jones has five.
7) North Carolina leads the ACC with 518.8 yards per game, but which team is No. 2?
It’s Georgia Tech with 465.3 yards per contest, edging out Florida State, which averages 458.3.
8) Can you name at least two of the top four ACC teams in tackles for loss?
There’s a three-way tie for first with Pittsburgh, Miami, and Virginia Tech all having 68, and Clemson is right behind them with 67.
9) Which ACC linebacker leads the league in tackles? Hint: He’s done it before.
It’s North Carolina State’s Payton Wilson with 105. He also led the ACC in 2020 with 108 for the season.
10) Florida State has a bevy of talented running backs, but do you know which one leads the squad in rushing?
It’s Trey Benson for the Seminoles, as he’s amassed 641 yards and 8 touchdowns this year.
