Miami and Florida State Wait On Cameron Ward's Decision

In this story:
It's down to decision time for top-notch Transfer Portal quarterback Cameron Ward. Will it be the Miami Hurricanes or the Florida State Seminoles?
He's seen both institutions via official visits this week, and now the waiting begins as he's going to decide between the Canes and Noles per this report. Also, Ward himself provided the notion that he's in decision-making mode with a sort of cryptic tweet. Read from the following what one will:
…

Yes, the infamous "..." that a writer will sometimes use in a novel or science fiction book is quite real because that's Ward's X/Twitter handle that hit send. For each school, a a quick decision would benefit each institution to help with National Signing Day on Dec. 20, and for the losing side to figure out what's next. There does not appear to be a hard date for a decision, or at least not yet.
Here's what's at stake for the lucky winner, and loser, of the Ward Sweepstakes:
Ward is coming off a 2023 season with 323 completions from 485 attempts, a 66.6% completion rate, 25 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. He did that for a mid-level Power 5 team so keep that point in mind. He's also a quarterback who needs to be graded on what he is capable of accomplishing with a better program.
His ability to avoid the rush and extend plays fits any offense, and that's a common trait Ward carries out on the gridiron. After all, providing one's pass catchers with more time is going to open up more big-play opportunities.
Even though Ward is not known as a runner who looks to take off like LSU's Jayden Daniels, his athleticism can create big plays on the ground as well. Teams will need to be careful about blitzing the soon-to-be fifth-year senior quarterback.
Perhaps the Canes or Seminoles will look to use Ward a little bit more as a runner than his former team – the Washington State Cougars – did in 2023. He's certainly capable. For the Cougars in 2023, Ward had 144 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns. One last but key point about Ward and his recruitment.
Assuming Ward is truly picking between the Hurricanes and Seminoles, he's going to be inside Hard Rock Stadium and playing in the rivalry game next fall. Now, which team will Ward be behind center and making plays?
