The College Football Playoff is here, and now the Miami Hurricanes are set to face off against the Texas A&M Aggies in one of the most anticipated games of the season.

This is the first appearance for the Hurricanes in the College Football Playoff as head coach Mario Cristobal continues to prep his team for another SEC matchup this season.

Not only will the Hurricanes look to play their best, but they will also try to upset one of the country's best offensive teams.

Miami Player to Watch: Malachi Toney

Once Miami's best-kept secret, Toney will have all eyes on him heading into this college Football playoff game. He is playing some of the best football so early in his young career, as the superstar receiver remains explosive.

No matter if it is through the air, on the ground, or if he is throwing the ball, Toney is one of the best players in the country.

Texas A&M Player to Watch: Marcel Reed

The biggest challenge the Hurricanes will have to face is Reed and what he can do in the air and on the ground. While he can be turnover-prone once he throws the first one, the sophomore star has been able to make a name for himself as the starting quarterback at A&M. He almost had a Heisman case before back-to-back games with interceptions to close the season.

He will also have several receivers that have game-breaking speed, and if they get out in the open, he can make plays for them.

A&M: A first-down keeper from Marcel Reed netted the Aggies six yards on the drive's opening play. Reed then found tight end Nate Boerkircher for a 21-yard gain before Reed fumbled, and the ball was recovered by Miami. The Hurricanes take over from their own 32-yard line. | 4:06 1Q

MIA: The Hurricane run game moved the chains for a 10-yard play on its first play of the drive before Miami attempts a trick play that comes up just short. The Hurricanes call a timeout before the next play. | 2:46 1Q

A&M: Reed finds Craver on a 59-yard pass to put the Aggies on the Miami 11-yard line, and the Miami defense makes a goal line stand in response. The A&M field goal unit takes to the turf, and the kick is blocked and returned to the Miami 13 yard-line. | 11:32 2Q

A deep incompletion to the end zone brings up third down, where Beck throws another incompletion to the sideline before bringing out the field goal unit. The kick is missed again to end the half. | 0:00

Third Quarter

Miami receives the kickoff in the end zone for a touchback.

MIA: Carson Beck comes out dealing for back-to-back chunk plays that give Miami a 1st & 10 from the A&M 40 before Keelan Marion takes a handoff for a 4-yard loss. Now behind the chains, Marion catches a 10-yard pass to bring up 3rd & 4. The Hurricanes convert in a big way with a 24-yard rush from Fletcher to bring up 1st & goal. A&M decides to take its first timeout of the second half. | 12:05

A&M: After the kick sails out of the end zone for a touchback, Concepcion takes and end-around for a 9-yard gain. Miami corner Zechariah Poyser was injured on the play and returned back to the locker room under his own power.

Following the injury timeout, Reed is called for intentional grounding to put the Aggies well behind the chains. Reed is intercepted by Bryce Fitzgerald who returns the pick to the A&M 20-yard line. The interception is his fifth of the season. | 8:37

MIA: Beck takes off for a two-yard gain, followed by a similar gain by Girard Pringle Jr. On third down, Beck fires over the middle and the pass is tipped incomplete. The field goal unit returns to the field for a 35-yard attempt, and it's doinked off the left upright. | 7:13

A&M: The Aggies take over from their own 25-yard line, and quickly rack up another nine rushing yards to bring up 3rd & 1. The Aggies convert, but Keionte Scott quickly puts the Aggies behind the chains with a first-down tackle for loss. After two straight pressures from Miami, the A&M punt unit takes the field on fourth down, and Toney returns the ball to the Miami 31 yard-line. | 3:33

After review, the play is overturned, leading to a 2nd and 10 from the Miami 41-yard line. After an incompletion on second down, third down results in an 11-yard gain for a fresh set. However, the spot is under review. | 10:11

After review, the spot is upheld, and A&M moves the chains again via a toss to Craver. Miami DL Ahmad Moten Sr. is down on the field, resulting in an injury timeout. | 9:44

Moten walks off the field under his own power, and Reed is sacked by Mesidor for a three-yard loss. Smith carries for a 5-yard gain to bring up 3rd & 8, where Reed throws an incomplete pass over the middle of the field to bring out the field goal unit. The kick is good, and the score is back knotted at 3-3. | 8:03

On 2nd & 5, Reed finds Concepcion on a curl route before he then runs out of bounds at the A&M 37. A roughing the passer penalty on the Hurricanes will add 15 yards to the end of the play, bringing the Aggies into Miami territory.

Reed throws over the middle and completes the pass to Boerkircher. Reed then scrambles for a 9-yard gain before dropping back and throwing an incomplete pass to Craver to bring up 3rd & 1. | 0:53
