Which Official Visits Will 5-Star David Stone Take?

In this story:
BRADENTON, Fla. - It’s never easy to narrow down a long list of schools that offered a scholarship to a 5-star recruit like David Stone.
Yet, that’s what the Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive tackle has been trying to accomplish.
“Right now, I really don’t have anything set up,” Stone began when asked about setting official visits….I do have a pretty good idea of how everything is going to line up.”
As for Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes, they were apparently one of the schools on Stone’s mind.
“Miami is definitely in a spot for one (of the official visits)."
While there’s been some jockeying for which specific weekend Stone will visit each program, one school does have a visit all but lined up, Oklahoma will be June 16 for Stone.
“I think it’s the weekend of the OT7 finals. I was supposed to be there, but I’ll be there (Oklahoma) instead.”
As for other visits being lined up, Stone was somewhat tight lipped.
“Uhhhh…(laughing), Yeah, there are some schools set.” He did not go into detail as Stone made it clear that many schools have been really wanting him to visit on the same weekend.
As for programs recruiting him hard, Stone said the following, as once again the Canes were mentioned.
“Miami, man, they reach out (to me) a lot. Them and Florida, too. I talk to them dang near every day.”
Speaking of coaches, Jason Taylor has been one of the Miami coaches recruiting Stone for the Hurricanes.
“Man, it’s great. That’s a once in a lifetime opportunity right there. I mean, he’s a Hall of Fame player. That’s something I want to get to. So what better way to learn than from someone that’s been in the shoes that you want to walk?”
Stone was also point blank that he enjoyed his relationships with UF defensive line coach Sean Spencer, as well as other members of the Gators staff.
Michigan State, Oregon, and many other schools have continued to come after Stone as well, and could also receive official visits.
Additionally, Stone had originally wanted to make his decision in the summer. Will he still do that? He explained where he stands now.
“That was the goal. Man, there are so many great schools. I feel like I just want to make the right choice, you know? Everyone has been rushing their commitment, and then they flip somewhere else.
“I don’t want to be that guy, so I feel like once I find the right place for me, I’m locked in. I’m ready to build a (recruiting) class. I don’t want to be one of those guys that commit, and then go back on their word.”
