Peach State Offensive Lineman Discusses His Recruitment

2026 recruit recaps Miami visit

Miami is recruiting the Peach State heavily for the future.

Alex Mirabal offered Lambert (Ga.) High School offensive lineman Dylan Biehl, January 23rd. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound offensive lineman already received an offer from another ACC school, the Duke Blue Devils.

A class of 2026 recruit, Biehl spoke with AllHurricanes about his visit to Miami and future visit plans.

"Miami visit was awesome. They offered back on January 23rd. The staff hospitality was awesome and I had a great time touring the facility."

A certain staff member made an impression on the Georgia offensive lineman.

"Coach Mirabal was very impressive in the meetings," said Biehl.

The visit was such a success, Lambert standout has planned a return visit to Miami.

"I'll be back at Miami attending a spring practice on March 8th."

However, that is not the only spring practice he has planned as he will be visiting other schools for spring practice and one spring game at this time.

"I'm visiting Georgia Tech on March 13th, Auburn on March 16th, South Florida March 23rd, Georgia March 30th, Washington April 2nd, April 4th-6th be visiting Oregon, April 13th Georgia Spring Game, April 20th Duke," said Biehl.

Biehl did mention some early favorites and a dark horse in his recruitment.

"Miami is definitely an early favorite. Looking forward to the Oregon the offensive line staff all played and worked for Coach Mirabal so, I'm sure they are great teachers. The U is a dream since I saw the 30/30."

With that being said, Miami has some competition for the Class of 2026 prospect.

"Of the schools that have offered so far, Duke is obviously an amazing educational opportunity. I'm impressed with the USF staff. If Oregon offers soon that would be interesting."

I asked him to elaborate on his context with Oregon.

"I was born in California. My mom is from the Portland area. I really like the offensive line staff at Oregon."

Peach State offensive lineman knows what he is looking for in an offensive lineman coaching staff.

"My dad was an offensive line coach. I've grown up with a love for offensive line culture, so the coaches and the value put on the offensive line is important to me. The greatest compliment I can get is an offensive line coach loving my film.

"I finish, I play nasty but with respect for the game and the position. I was offered by FAU and that was a huge compliment because Coach (Ed) Warriner told my coach he loved my HUDL, truly amazing and humbling."

The Lambert standout is taking his time on his recruitment.

"I have two more years to go. I think I'm going to have a lot of coaches coming to our Spring Practices. I'd like to get a hard top ten after spring. Take some officials when our season is over. I might do a few camps for a couple of schools that are close to offering, My plan is to verbally commit on May 1st or about (that time) next year. The sign as early as possible so I can focus on my senior year."

Early on Miami is in a good position for Biehl's recruitment, but Oregon and Georgia could be schools worth watching down the line. Coach Mirabal continues to make a lasting impression with recruits across the country.
