With NIL and the transfer portal playing a major factor in today's college athletics, it's understandable that some people are tuned out when it comes to recruiting. But for those who do still take interest in the process of recruiting, it's clear that the University of Michigan put together an incredible recruiting event over the weekend - and there's no shortage of photos to prove it.

Michigan received some good news on Sunday by picking up the commitment of four-star defensive lineman, Owen Wafle. The Princeton (NJ) prospect was once committed to Notre Dame, but ended up flipping his commitment to Michigan in an announcement via his Twitter account.

It also sounds like Michigan is set to receive more good news on the recruiting trail on Monday, as 2024 safety Jaden Smith is expected to pick the Wolverines over USC, Virginia Tech and Kentucky.

Smith is labeled as a safety by 247 Sports, but he really plays all over the field in high school. He's dynamic as a pass rusher off the edge as an outside linebacker and he's a true playmaker on offense as a wide receiver. Because of his size, he projects as a safety or outside linebacker in college, and he appears to have plenty of athleticism and fluidity to play several positions at a high level.
