BREAKING: Michigan Lands 2024 Four-Star Edge Rusher
The Michigan Wolverines continue to rack up the talent in what could be Jim Harbaugh's best class since arriving in Ann Arbor back in 2015. On Sunday, four-star EDGE Dominic Nichols announced he was committed to Michigan - becoming the Wolverines 23rd commitment in the class.
Nichols chose the Wolverines over Georgia, Wisconsin, Clemson, Florida State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Kentucky.
The 6-5, 252-pound EDGE is currently ranked as the No. 12 rated overall prospect from the state of Maryland and the No. 28 overall EDGE in the nation according to 247Sports.
Nichols took his official visit to Ann Arbor earlier this month, and the visit obviously made a big impact on his decision to choose Michigan. In fact, Nichols said that the Michigan staff views him at a true edge rusher - similar to that of Aidan Hutchinson and Mike Morris.
The commitment of Nichols comes just days after another EDGE prospect from Maryland committed to Michigan - Gwynn Park's Devon Baxter.
