WATCH: Blake Corum Goes Crazy On Bench Press

It certainly looks like Michigan running back Blake Corum is well on his way to a full-recovery. After a knee injury in Week 11 effectively ended his 2022 season, Corum has spent the last several months rehabbing and prepping for a big return in 2023.
On Monday, the official Michigan Football social media account shared footage of Corum putting in work on the bench press. Although Corum's strength won't come as much of a surprise to Michigan Football fans, the fact that he put up 30 reps of 225 pounds is certainly noteworthy.

For perspective, that's five more reps than any other running back in this year's NFL Combine. Here's a look at the top-five:
- Chase Brown, Illinois: 25
- Evan Hull, Northwestern: 21
- Tank Bigsby, Auburn: 21
- Chris Rodriguez Jr., Kentucky: 19
- Zach Charbonnet, UCLA: 18
In fact, the all-time bench press record for a running back at the NFL Combine is 32 reps, achieved by Jerick McKinnon (Georgia Southern) back in 2014.
For additional perspective, Corum's 30 reps of 225 would have been No. 1 for all running backs at the 2023 Combine and put him in the top ten of all athletes who participated.
- Andrew Vorhees, USC (Guard): 38
- Anthony Bradford, LSU (Guard): 34
- Jovaughn Gwyn, South Carolina (Guard): 34
- Mazi Smith, Michigan (Defensive Tackle): 34
- Tyler Steen, Alabama (Offensive Tackle): 31
- Lonnie Phelps, Kansas (EDGE): 31
- Jaquelin Roy, LSU (Defensive Tackle): 30
- Peter Skoronski, Northwestern (Offensive Tackle): 30
- Tyler Lacy, Oklahoma State (Defensive End): 30
- Keion White, Georgia Tech (EDGE): 30
