Expectation:Â All Big Ten RT

Height:  6”4”

Weight:Â #303

2012 Eligibility: Senior

EXP:Â 1 Letter

Status:Â Starting RT

Strengths: Fou has so many. Character is the first. A class act human being. Football is not who he is, it is what he does. There are so many great people on
this team since Mark Dantonio arrived and started making recruiting character key. Fou is no exception.

Against UM the Spartans had a 1st and ten at their own ten in the 2nd quarter with 12:33 on the clock. He sealed off the DT with a very good block,
and got upfield to the second level and took on the MLB for a four yard gain.

Fou is so athletic and so nimble for a big man. Most OL want the pancake block, but he isn’t about Sportscenter highlights. If he has sealed off his man, he gets down the field.

Weakness: In the Outback Bowl the Spartans had a 3rd and 15 at their own 46 in the first quarter with 4:04 on the clock. The UGA DE bull rushed Fou and he lost his footing and fell to the ground. The only issue with Fou that you can call a weakness is that last season was his first at the D1 level. He transferred in.  At this level he has to keep his feet and balance. It isn’t a consistent issue, but in the past he was always so athletic he could get away with those mistakes. He won’t be able to at the NFL level.

Final Analysis: He won the hearts of his teammates early in camp when every time a player scored he was often the first to reach him in the endzone. As the season went on it never changed in practice or games that he was among the first down the field. He leads from the front. He is quiet, but in one short year earned his
teammates respect and amazingly could be a captain this season.

Next up:Â #3 Punter Mike Sadler
