Hondo, how about commenting on the plan for an upper deck in Spartan Stadium? In the 70's there was a plan for an upper deck. You have to
wonder if this is being looked at by Hollis. Roger

There have been plans for a long time as you mentioned. Hollis said a few weeks ago there is expansion plans for the stadium, but after last year’s embarrassing performance by Spartan fans as it pertained to attendance, there is no need to spend MILLIONS to build more seats until fans make it a necessity. Hollis stressed when he mentioned the expansion plans, “Not now.” I agree.

Hondo with all the things I am reading about Johnny Adams I am wondering if you think he will get elected captain and if you think his
teammates should vote him for that? Kris

No and No.

Hondo do you have any idea who this year’s captains may be for Spartan football?  Glenn

Max Bullough, Fou Fonoti I think are close to locks. I am sure Andrew Maxwell will be in the mix as will Chris Norman and Chris McDonald.

Hondo we all know about the Gholston’s and Bullough’s but give me a name to watch for this year on the defense? Ron

Hondo I was watching Mark Hollis on your site talking about wanting to do work for the tennis program? Any other projects? Jason

Yes. They want to move the tennis courts over to the tennis facility and then (this is a story we are breaking here) they are
going to build a large addition to the football building that will extend to where the tennis courts are now. Spartan
Nation broke the story last week that Hollis wanted to start the new building project on the north end of Spartan Stadium by him saying he wanted to, “Put a shovel in the ground as soon as the season ends.” The football building addition will come
after they move the tennis courts and when they finish the north Spartan Stadium project.

Hondo I have a friend who is a relative of a trustee. He told me that there is a push to put statues up of Duffy and Biggie. Can you
confirm this and what do you think of the idea? Andre

Yes I can confirm it. I can also say that I have no issue with it and support it, but the money that needs to pay for it should be raised by donations. Both of those men deserve it, but it must happen within the long term plans that Hollis has. Without being to specific let me just say this. One very influential MSU leader wanted the statues and wanted them in a place that if it happened would cost a lot of money to move soon, when a future Hollis project comes to light. So I can say I do support it.  It needs to be built with private donations raised by outside folks and put in a place that works with the long term vision
of Mark Hollis.
