No, that decision will come closer to game time. I can tell you that it was heavily leaning to Matt Allen after Wednesday.

Hondo you said before the season you expected Jon Reschke to start by game four. This is week four. Could he this week? Thank you, Karen L.

Could he? Yes. Will he? I still think game four, but certainly could. He got at on of reps this week and will play more this week.

Hondo do you think Rocky Lombardi will be a good starting punter? Chris Cleland

I know that everyone else is reporting that he will be the starter. I am not. I do not believe he will be the starting punter for MSU this week as many have reported.

Why is Matt Allen listed behind Tyler Higby on this week’s depth chart? Roger S

It should have said or, but there were other issues on the depth chart. Jim Harbaugh at UM takes a lot of heat for his lack of depth chart, but a completed depth chart at MSU doesn’t necessarily reflect accuracy.

Red zone four times and they can only get 13 points and penalties are destroying us. What is going on? Marnie Curt

Marnie, they are struggling with red zone play calling and execution and the penalties are in many cases a lack of discipline. Guys pressing.

San Diego State not only beat Arizona State 28-21, but they also gained 311 yards rushing. Just compare that to Michigan State’s rushing total from a week ago. Do we need further proof that the Spartans have problems this year? Tim Price

This game is definitive for the Spartans. A loss or a poor showing will raise massive red flags. This is the week against one of the worst rushing defenses in the nation, MSU has their coming out party or their oh crap moment. A massive big game this week.

Hey Hondo, Mark has not changed his ways and never will. That is a fact. He still thinks you can win an NC the way his boss did. Never going to happen! Warner has to go, period. Michael

The first two games certainly are not indicative of a big change. I would disagree with you that the style he wants can’t win a national title. I think many people forget Dave Warner has a boss. He is the same coach that last year (after NW) and 2014 was a rock star.

Four: S Xavier Henderson, WR Jalen Nailor, DT Jacob Slade & RB La'Darius Jefferson. 

Hey Hondo, we have 3 receivers in the 2019 class, if we add a 4th if you had to pick, who would we pick up? Ashriel Morgan

Right now MSU has Alante Brown, Jase Bowen and Tre Mosley committed for the 2019 class. As you mentioned all three are WR’s. At this point, and it could change, I do not think they will take another. That is fluid, so I am basing that squarely as of right now.
