The Cowboy’s owner Jerry Jones let Flozell the Hotel go today. He said about Adams, “We will always be grateful for his outstanding durability, dependability and contributions to this team, I don’t know that you could ask for any more than what Flozell Adams gave to the Dallas Cowboys for 12 seasons.”

Adams was a pro bowler from 2003-2008. He signed six-year deal through 2013 before the start of the 2008 season. It was a $43 million deal with the Cowboys, who are the team that drafted him in the second round when he came out of the Spartan Nation in 1998.

Flozell in May would have turned 35 and was scheduled to get a $2.5 million roster bonus in June to go along with his $5 million base salary for 2010.
