Mark Dantonio Adds Recruit #7! RB Nick Hill from Chelsea, Michigan.

Publish date:

Mark Dantonio continues his assault on the state of Michigan and recruiting their favorite sons. Today Nick Hill, a versatile RB from Chelsea, committed to the Spartan Nation marking the Spartans seventh commitment for the 2010 class, the second pure offensive player and the SEVENTH from the state of Michigan.

The 5’7” 180 pound back can do a lot with the ball. He has scored over 50 TDs in his high school career, and Hill ran a sub 4.4 forty on more than one occasion. Here is an article that Spartan Nation’s Kevin Thomas wrote last week about Hill ahead of our anticipation of his commitment.

Hill is also dangerous as a special team's returner and ran two kickoffs back for TDs last season. He also lends to Don Treadwell, MSU offensive coordinator, another versatile weapon to find ways to get the ball to. Hill is not only dangerous as a running back and returner, but also has soft hands and if he can develop his patch catching talents, that and his speed should give Big Ten defensive coordinators a major fit.

Hill had offers from as far away as the Pac Ten, and as of late was getting considerable attention from Charlie Weis and Notre Dame. Once again Mark Dantonio collects yet another highly touted player from the state of Michigan.
