Nemo's Hit on You Tube Replay

Some members of the media tried to make Nehemiah Warrick into a villian yesterday with his hit on Wisconsin WR Kyle Jefferson. The truth is that football is a violent sport. It is a game defined by toughness and the ability to intimidate your opponent through contact and major collisions. You can't take anything away from Warrick's hit yesterday. It was clean, well within the rules of play and just incredible. It looked like he brought all of 48824 with this particular play and it will go down as the hit of the season in the Big Ten. I am sure all fans on both sides were happy to see Jefferson get back to his feet. The collision certainly affected Wiscy's offense as Jefferson was held out of action in the second half. This is a part of college football; it was a great hit in the spirit of competition and I don't believe Nemo intended to intentionally hurt Jefferson.
