Spartans Announce Future Football Series With Oregon

MSU and Oregon to play a home-and-home series in 2029-30.

EAST LANSING, Mich. –#5 Michigan State footballhas announced that the Spartans have agreed in principle to a home-and-home series with Oregon. The two-game series will kick off in Spartan Stadium on Sept. 8, 2029. MSU will make the return trip to Eugene on Sept. 7, 2030, in Autzen Stadium.

The MSU-Oregon all-time series is tied 3-3, as the home team has won the six previous meetings. The two teams also scheduled a home-and-home series in 2014-15. Oregon won the 2014 matchup in Eugene on its way to winning the Pac-12 title, while MSU won in Spartan Stadium in 2015 en route to a Big Ten Championship. Both of those matchups featured AP Top 10 clashes and the winners eventually secured berths in the College Football Playoff.
