Brandon Long was the epitome of durability during his Spartan career. It was shocking last year when he got to San Francisco and they found he had an injury. That detoured his career, but Long never quit.

 

When Spartan Nation spoke to him last week he confirmed to us, “The 49ers still want me and I hope we can work something out.”  He has! Brandon who played DE at MSU projects must better as an outside linebacker in the 49ers 3-4 base defense and they have signed him to a new two-year contract.
