• Men's basketball took its first non-conference home loss under Coach Chris Jans as the Bulldogs dropped to 10-1 over a two-year span. 

• It was not the biggest win in UTC women's basketball history. The last ranked win came December 17, 2014 in a 54-46 victory over No. 7 Stanford. The Mocs also defeated No. 4 Tennessee in 2014 that same season.

• Tackle Kison Shepard de-committed from Mississippi State football.
