• Mississippi State was named the 2023 NCAA Southeast Staff of the Year by United Soccer Coaches: Head coach James Armstrong, associate head coach Nick Zimmerman, assistant coach Brian Dunleavy, and assistant coach Kat Stratton.
• Class of 2024 linebacker Caleb Dozier decommitted from Mississippi State. 
• Longtime offensive line coach Mike Schmidt was not retained by Mississippi State. He coached tackles and tight ends and was the running game coordinator. Meanwhile, Jeff Lebby announced numerous moves regarding his coaching staff.
