• Nathaniel Watson finished with a career-high 21 tackles against Southern Miss. He's first MSU player to record 20-plus tackles since Mario Haggan on Nov. 18, 2000 against Arkansas.

• Jett Johnson added a career-high 18 tackles, plus had the interception in the fourth quarter that he lateralled to safety Marcus Banks and was returned for a touchdown.

• Against Washington State, the men's basketball team scored 33 of the game's 38 points off the bench. Over the last three games, State has outscored its opponents, 117-36, in bench points.
