Mississippi State releases 2026 baseball roster

Fans of the Bulldogs can now have an official roster to work with to predict starting lineups and pitching rotations.

The first roster of the Brian O’Connor era at Mississippi State has been officially released.

We had a general idea of who would be on the Bulldogs’ roster, but now we have it from the university itself. And now fans can really start to speculate about starting lineups and pitching rotations.

The full roster is below but here are some quick facts/notes about the roster:

  • There are 12 freshman, 12 sophomores, 9 juniors, 5 seniors and 5 graduate students;
  • 22 total pitchers, including six LHP;
  • 10 players are from Mississippi;
  • Two players – Tanner Beliveau and Noah Sullivan – are listed as both a pitcher and batter;
  • There’s only one switch hitter, Gehrig Frei; and
  • Jack Bauer will wear No. 24.
