Social Media Reacts To Mississippi State's 41-14 Loss To LSU

In this story:
Mississippi State (2-1) came out on the right side of the win column in its first two games of the year, but such was not the case as the Bulldogs opened up SEC play at home against the LSU Tigers on Saturday.
As quarterback Jayden Daniels put up a remarkable stat line of 30-of-34 passing for 361 yards and 2 touchdowns in a solid offensive performance for LSU, the Tigers secured a dominant 41-14 win to improve to 2-1.
MSU could not say the same about any of that as new offensive coordinator Kevin Barbay's system continued to show issues. While the team did attempt more passes, something that was necessary to have a shot in a game like this, there was no success through the air.
Quarterback Will Rogers finished out the game 11-of-28 passing for 103 yards without a touchdown. Running back Jo'quavious "Woody" Marks led the team on the ground with 8 carries for 75 yards.
Here's a look at what social media had to say about the Bulldogs' fall during and after the game:
I’m starting to suspect LSU is a better football team than Mississippi State.

Mississippi State should be ashamed of themselves. To come out like that in SEC home opener is a total disgrace. pic.twitter.com/tgQr5Hg8v3

There was no victory today
Couldn’t gain a yard or pass the ball
Catch a ball or find a hole
So we just yell yell yell yell
Yell at the sky cause we play like HELL
The Plight of Mississippi State is to lose games all day
Go State#HailState #MississippiState
In all seriousness, I wait for college football all year. I love it so much. I love Mississippi State, and I refuse to give up and stop watching 3 games in. MSU is not as talented as an LSU, but here’s the truth: there is no excuse to get ran off the field like a D2 team. Ever.

Kevin Barbay is just not a morning person. It hit noon and he immediately reached into his bag. Not worried

Mississippi State tried to press LSU’s receivers, Brian Kelly said, which turned what might have been hitches into high-risk downfield throws.

“Jayden was up to the task.”
