Mississippi State vs. Alabama: Three Alabama Players to Watch

In this story:
Since the new college football playoff system has been implemented, No. 12 Alabama (3-1) has been the best team of one of the best teams in the country.
In the SEC West, they have reigned atop the conference, however, they look to have their weakest team since their 2007 season. MSU (2-2) has the chance for an upset after quarterback Will Rogers and wide receiver/kick returner Lideatrick "Tulu" Griffin played the best games of their careers in the Week 4 matchup against South Carolina.
The Bulldogs have lost 15 consecutive times against Alabama and are looking for a win to climb from the bottom of the standings.
Here are three players to look out for:
CB Kool-Aid McKinstry
Serving as the punt returner and being one of the best corners in the nation, McKinstry will likely be matched up against the explosive Tulu Griffin. He was named the defensive player of the week by the Alabama coaches after an impressive game against Ole Miss in Week 4.
He is a threat to any ball that is thrown towards his way. He has a knack for deflections and do not be surprised if he gets a couple of poorly thrown balls head his direction.
QB Jalen Milroe
Even behind a fleeting offensive line, Milroe proved to be the best quarterback on Alabama's roster against Ole Miss. He has a big arm and quick feet that allow him to escape the pressure that will eventually come his way.
State has some of the best tacklers in the SEC but with how powerful the Tide's quarterback is, it could be a struggle to bring him down. Look for him to throw over the secondary and run right up the middle for big-positive plays.
WR Jalen Hale
On the offense side of the ball, Alabama has been struggling to find answers to help a struggling offense line. In Week 4, that answer was freshman Jalen Hale.
He caught two of the most important catches in the game against No. 20 Ole Miss which led the Tides to a victory. With a struggling MSU secondary, playmakers like Hale will be used quickly and often to start fast.
