Former Dogs learn details of upcoming NFL debuts

It doesn’t look like Mississippi State fans are going to have to wait long to see former Bulldog linebacker Willie Gay, Jr. in action for the first time in an NFL uniform.

The NFL released its 2020 schedule on Thursday night and kicking off the party in the season’s very first game will be Gay’s Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans on Thursday, September 10 at 7:20 p.m. central time on NBC.

Gay, Kanas City’s second-round pick in last month’s NFL Draft, might not be the only ex-MSU player debuting with the defending Super Bowl Champions that night. Offensive lineman Darryl Williams also inked with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent.

Here are when all new MSU NFLers that were either drafted or signed last month are slated to start their careers if they make the cut for their particular team:
