Standout 2024 CB Reveals Top Seven Schools, Including Three From SEC

Standout cornerback prospect Bryce West is down to seven schools, he announced on social media this week.
The 5-foot-11, 177 pound prospect is a consensus four-star cornerback from Cleveland, Ohio and is rated as the No. 43 overall recruit in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite ratings. He’s also the No. 4 corner and the top-ranked prospect from Ohio.
He revealed the list of his top seven schools on Wednesday. HIs list includes Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M from the SEC, while also naming Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, and USC in his top seven choices.
Ohio State may have the advantage in his recruitment due to West being an Ohio native. The Buckeyes also have two Crystal Ball predictions in its favor on 247Sports. West is expected to visit the Buckeyes later this month.
West has an official visit planned for Michigan this upcoming weekend, before taking official visits to USC and Ohio State in the following weeks. He has previously been to Michigan on unofficial visits and also visited Alabama back in January during school camp.
Georgia currently has the top ranked recruiting class of 2024, according to 247Sports. Michigan currently trails the Bulldogs at No. 2. Meanwhile, Ohio State sits at four while Alabama currently ranks at No. 13. A commitment here from one of the top defensive prospects in the class would certainly help these schools looking to boost their recruiting class this year.
