South Alabama pounced on Nebraska early, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning en route to an 11-3 win Friday at Haymarket Park in Lincoln. The Jaguars hit four home runs as they dealt the Huskers a loss in Nebraska's 2024 home opener. The teams play again Saturday and Sunday.
