Analysis:

Jaquez Jr. comes off the line with a quick first step and an ability to beat his blocker with ease. He displays a quick twitch in his hips and a flexibility that is on full display at all times on the field.

Jaquez uses his quickness off the ball to wreak havoc in the backfield, constantly blowing up plays before they can develop. Jaquez forces a lot of pressure on opposing offenses, especially the quarterback, because he is almost impossible to block at times.

Along with his quickness off the ball, Jaquez uses his hands to beat off would-be blockers with ease, routinely overpowering double teams to either stop the run or rush the quarterback and throw off any rhythm the opposition may have.

Jaquez combines all of this into a powerful frame that he uses to leverage at the point of attack, as he has no issue getting low to beat blockers or using finesse moves to get around them.

Jaquez is a true power hitter with speed and flexibility that is perfectly suited to fit the mold of an edge defender in the Big Ten. Jaquez will bring an intensity to the Wildcats' defense that those around him can feed off of while he makes a name for himself on the field.
