College Football Week 11 Game Predictions

It will be a bit of a separation Saturday in college football as teams look to build on their playoff resumes. Some will get a boost, while others will see their championship hopes get blown up.
Irish Breakdown will have its eyes on four games in particular.
#3 Michigan (9-0) at #10 Penn State (8-1)
Time: 12:00 PM
Network: Fox
Line: Michigan -4.0, O/U: 44.5
Michigan still controls its own destiny - unless the Big Ten grows a pair and comes down on them for cheating. If the Wolverines win out they are back in the CFP. Penn State needs help, but it can help itself in a big way with a victory over the Wolverines.
Bryan Driskell, Publisher - Penn State 24, Michigan 20
Michigan isn't the same explosive offense it was a year ago, and Penn State will expose that this weekend. I don't have a lot of faith in the Nittany Lion offense either, but the defense will give it some short fields and Drew Allar will make enough plays to win the game.
Vince DeDario, Football Analyst - Michigan 24, Penn State 17
I was sucked into the Penn State Ohio State snooze fest a couple weeks ago. I am wondering if the same thing will happen this week and hoping the payoff is better than the last time. This is by far the toughest team that Michigan has faced so far this season and with everything going on around the program it has to galvanize them.
Ryan Roberts, Recruiting Director - Michigan 28, Penn State 17
James Franklin and winning big games just don’t mix. Michigan is a good mix offensively, with a stellar defensive attack. Expect a somewhat lower scoring game.
Sean Stires, Staff Writer - Michigan 30, Penn State 17
This will be one of Michigan’s closest games of the season, but Penn State’s offense just isn’t dynamic enough to win a big game.
Andrew McDonough, IB Contributor - Penn State 24, Michigan 23
Too many distractions for this Michigan program right now, and having the first game pressure of the season be on the road in Happy Valley is a tough task. Drew Allar and the Nittany Lions show they've learned from the Ohio State loss - I expect an aggressive Penn State game plan on offense.
#18 Utah (7-2) at #5 Washington (9-0)
Time: 3:30 PM ET
Network: Fox
Line: Washington -9.5, O/U: 49.5
Washington is one of five teams that still controls its own destiny, and it remains so thanks to a shootout win over USC last week. Utah presents a completely different challenge for a Husky team looking to earn its second playoff berth.
Bryan Driskell, Publisher - Washington 34, Utah 16
Washington went through a bout of subpar play in October, but the offense is humming again. Utah bounced back from its blowout loss to Oregon, but it doesn't have enough offense to beat Washington.
Vince DeDario, Football Analyst - Washington 35, Utah 14
Washington does not always win pretty but they still win. They are the best chance for the PAC 12 to get a national title before they implode officially. I think they keep the train moving this week against the Utes.
Ryan Roberts, Recruiting Director - Washington 31, Utah 28
Utah is a team who can beat anyone in the PAC 12 on a given Saturday but offensively, they are just anemic at times. Washington’s defense isn’t playing well but their offense is outstanding.
Sean Stires, Staff Writer - Washington 35, Utah 27
Talk about contrast. Washington leads the nation in passing offense, while the Utes rank No. 121. Utah keeps it close but not close enough.
Andrew McDonough, IB Contributor - Washington 38, Utah 28
The Huskies displayed their offensive firepower last weekend on the road at USC, and face a Utah team that despite having the top ranked defense in the Pac-12 overall, that defense has been quite average against ranked teams, giving up 6.23 yards/play.
#13 Tennessee (7-2) at #14 Missouri (7-2)
Time: 3:30 PM ET
Network: CBS
Line: Tennessee -2.0, O/U: 57.5
Neither team is battling for a playoff berth, but a possible New Year's Six Bowl is absolutely on the line in this matchup. A win by Tennessee would set up a huge matchup with Georgia next weekend, while a Missouri win would give the Tigers a chance to have their best season since winning the East in 2014.
Bryan Driskell, Publisher - Missouri 31, Tennessee 20
I'm not sold on Tennessee, at all. They are ranked 12th because they are an SEC team, that's it. Missouri is more battle tested, has the better QB and is at home. I'm going with the Tigers.
Vince DeDario, Football Analyst - Missouri 42, Tennessee 35
The Vols go on the road to face a Missouri team that can score at home. This has all the makings of a shootout and could very well be one of the more entertaining games of the weekend. If you like points I think you will like this game.
Ryan Roberts, Recruiting Director - Missouri 34, Tennessee 27
Missouri is one of the most improved teams in college football. They are led by wide receiver Luther Burden, who is one of the biggest pass catching threats in college football. Their offense should outpace the overrated Volunteers.
Sean Stires, Staff Writer - Missouri 37, Tennessee 35
This should be one of the more entertaining games of the weekend to watch with two high scoring offenses.
Andrew McDonough, IB Contributor - Tennessee 28, Missouri 24
Joe Milton's dual-threat ability is the difference in this one. The Tigers have struggled against mobile QBs, giving up 130 yards rushing to Jayden Daniels in the home loss to LSU, and though Milton isn't at Daniels' level, his ability to extend plays gives Tennessee the edge.
#9 Ole Miss (8-1) at #2 Georgia (9-0)
Time: 7:00 PM ET
Network: ESPN
Line: Georgia -11.0, O/U: 58.5
If you're a program hoping Georgia loses and opens up a spot for you in the playoff the chances of that happening are few and far between. This game against Ole Miss could be the last chance of that prior to the SEC title game. Ole Miss also needs a win to keep its SEC West hopes alive.
Bryan Driskell, Publisher - Georgia 34, Ole Miss 27
I actually think Ole Miss gives Georgia a game. The Bulldogs have hit their stride and QB Carson Beck is playing excellent football, but Ole Miss is also winners of five straight. This could be a fun game.
Vince DeDario, Football Analyst - Georgia 31, Ole Miss 27
Another week and another chance for Lane Kiffin to get a signature W. Unfortunately all we are going to get another crazy quote or tweet after the loss between the hedges.
Ryan Roberts, Recruiting Director - Georgia 37, Ole Miss 28
The Rebels have shown a lot of promise this year. Unfortunately they are playing a Georgia team playing at a high level. Ole Miss should make a couple big plays but it won’t be enough.
Sean Stires, Staff Writer - Georgia 30, Ole Miss 22
This will likely be the biggest test of the season for Georgia. Ole Miss can score, but not against the Bulldogs.
Andrew McDonough, IB Contributor - Georgia 34, Ole Miss 21
If this one were in Oxford it might be a different story, but the fact remains that the weakest unit in this game is the Ole Miss defense, which ranks 11th in the SEC. The Rebels have offensive talent but haven't seen a defense like Georgia's.
STAFF RESULTS
Andrew - 32-10
Bryan - 31-11
Sean - 29-13
Ryan - 26-16
Vince - 23-12
