Elite QB Brady Hart Previews His Upcoming Notre Dame Visit

It’s visiting season in high school recruiting. Notre Dame is gearing up for a busy next couple of months, welcoming several top 2026 recruits to campus for the guest time. One of the most highly anticipated visitors this offseason is Cocoa (Fla.) High School signal caller Brady Hart, who is right near the top of the quarterback board for the Irish.

Hart, who has said he hopes to make a commitment this offseason, has not been afraid to speak his praises of the Irish program. Visits this offseason are going to be huge, especially with so many big time programs pursuing him.

“Recruitings has been great,” Hart told Irish Breakdown. “I’m hearing from a lot of awesome schools. I’m very fortunate to be in the position I am in. I have a good idea for what I’m looking for and am really excited to see where I fit in best.”

Obviously Notre Dame is high on his list right now but other prominent programs are involved with Hart, who is one of the top rated quarterbacks in the class. Hart has put together an impressive offer list. Some of his top offers so far include the Fighting Irish, Miami, Florida, Penn State, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, UNC, Purdue, UCF, Pitt and Indiana among several others.

Despite so many schools pursuing, the Irish clearly have a place right near the top of that list. They have done everything right so far, lining up for this visit to be a big one.

“I love the Notre Dame staff,” Hart explained. “The history of the program also speaks for itself. They have made me feel like a very important player for them, and have been blown away by everything they have to offer.

“I’m excited to see the campus and how they practice,” he continued. “It’s going to be cool to see the quarterbacks live and see Coach (GinoGuidugli and Coach (MikeDenbrock coach in person. My expectations are high and I am really looking forward to this particular trip.”

If Hart does pull the trigger this offseason, it’ll be because a school was able to leave zero doubts in his mind. If this visit to South Bend goes well, we could look back on it and really appreciate just how vital it was to close on the talented passer.

The Florida native is currently rated as a four-star on the Rivals ranking. They have him pegged as the No. 49 overall player and No. 4 quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class. Hart also comes in as the No. 9 player in the state of Florida, a territory that is getting more friendly to Notre Dame recently.

The 6-5, 185-pound signal caller was sensational as a sophomore for the Cocoa Tigers. In 15 games, Hart threw for 3,759 yards and 41 touchdowns, while completing 66 percent of his passer. That is a per game average of 250.6 yards per game and just 11 interceptions thrown.
