Dynamic 2025 Athlete Dallas Golden Is Very High On Notre Dame

One of the more talented recruits on the Notre Dame board for 2025 is Tampa Bay (Fla.) Berkeley Prep athlete Dallas Golden, a talented young player that can play on both sides of the ball on the next level. Notre Dame currently sees him as a cornerback, possessing a long frame and fantastic athleticism.

Notre Dame offered Golden over a year ago, which tells you how much the Fighting Irish staff likes this talented young athlete. His recruitment has heated up quite a bit recently, and that includes Notre Dame.

"You know all of it is just a blessing," Golden said of his recruitment. "No visits soon that I know of, but we’re beginning to have those conversations. The plan is to take a couple this summer and then a bunch of game visits in the fall.

"Really every school has been doing a good job recruiting me,” he continued. "Notre Dame is definitely one of the schools that have been the most consistent and real with me.”

Getting an athlete out of the South is never an easy thing, but Notre Dame is certainly putting in the effort. The message from Notre Dame, which is usually delivered by corners coach Mike Mickens, is sticking with Golden really well so far.

“The Notre Dame coaching staff is amazing,” he said. “They treat me like a family up there and they show me a lot of love. I love how those coaches treat me. Everyone feels so valued around that program.

“I like Notre Dame a lot,” Golden added. "The message is it’s just not all about football. There’s a lot more that matters and I couldn’t agree more.”

Golden is considered to be a four-star recruit by both On3 and ESPN. The former has him ranked the highest, sitting as the No. 73 overall player and No. 6 safety in the 2025 recruiting class.

The Florida native has already demanded the attention of various big time programs early on in the process. Some of the top schools who have offered Golden include the Fighting Irish, Georgia, Clemson, Miami, Michigan, LSU, Florida, Penn State, Florida State, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Louisville, West Virginia, Boston College, Duke and Rutgers among others.

The 6-1, 165-pound athlete makes plays on both sides of the ball for Berkeley Prep. He makes his biggest impact as a running back, rushing for 1,403 yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging 7.3 yards per carry. Golden also hauled in 10 receptions for 145 yards and another score.

On defense, Golden recorded 14 total tackles and two pass breakups in limited action.
