Notre Dame Offers Georgia Athlete Dalen Penson

Notre Dame extends an offer to 2025 Georgia speedster Dalen Penson

Notre Dame is in the business of adding impressive athletes to the 2025 recruiting board. That includes Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek athlete Dalen Penson, who is an intriguing athlete who could potentially play a few different roles on the next level.

Penson is starting to gain more traction on the recruiting trail. So far he has received offers from the Fighting Irish, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Indiana and Vanderbilt among others.

Despite Penson being projected to the defensive side of the football, he does most of his work on the offensive side of the football. The 5-11, 160-pound athlete is a dual threat quarterback for Sandy Creek, throwing for 1,052 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games. Penson’s biggest impact came as a rusher, where he exploded for 814 yards and eight touchdowns on just 103 carries. That’s a per carry average of 7.9 and had a long of 76 yards.

Denson is also a tremendous track and field athlete for the school. He is a standout 110 meter hurdler, posting a best time of 14.21 seconds as a sophomore. The junior has also put up some impressive numbers in the triple jump, including a personal best jump of 45’10” last season.

It’s unclear what position Notre Dame is targeting Penson at but he brings an impressive athlete profile to the table. If you like speed, look no further.
