Notre Dame has picked up a commitment from Ironton (Ohio) High School wide receiver Shaun Terry. The Irish 2025 continues to roll along with Terry being the latest talented player to pledge to Notre Dame.

Terry is the second wide receiver to pledge to Notre Dame, with the dynamic athlete joining Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic standout Elijah Burress in the class. It's the second wide receiver pickup for first year position coach Mike Brown.

This is a different type of player for Notre Dame, with Terry not being your typical downfield wide receiver. Terry is the kind of athlete you recruit to do damage after the catch. His game is all about getting in space and then doing damage with his exceptional vision and quickness. While Terry lacks top-level speed, he's fast enough to do damage once he gets past the defense. He brings a much-needed skillset to the offense and adds a potential impact return man to the roster.

Terry was an impact player for Ironton, who went 11-2 this past season. The 5-10, 170-pound athlete caught 27 passes for a team leading 525 yards, which was good for 19.4 yards per catch. Nine of Terry's 27 grabs went for touchdowns and he rushed for another 391 yards on 28 carries for five more touchdowns. On 55 offensive touches as a junior, Terry racked up 916 yards (16.7 YPT) and 14 touchdowns.

Terry was also an impact return man for the Fighting Tigers, averaging 31.7 yards per punt return. He took five punts back for touchdowns during his junior season. Terry is a three-way standout at Iron, registering 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three interceptions and six pass break ups in the Ironton secondary.

The Ironton standout has offers from Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Auburn, Wisconsin, Louisville, Arkansas, Iowa, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Illinois, Indiana and Boston College.

Terry joins a 2025 recruiting class that also includes elite quarterback Deuce Knight, running backs Daniel Anderson and Justin Thurman, tight end James Flanigan, offensive tackle Owen Strebig, offensive tackle Will Black, defensive tackle Davion Dixon, defensive end Christopher Burgess Jr., defensive end Joseph Reiff, hybrid defender Dominik Hulak, linebacker Josiah Kia, cornerback Cree Thomas, and safeties Ivan Taylor and Ethan Long
